Maria Sharapova will host the “Sharapova and Friends”, presented by Porsche, which will take place this weekend at the UCLA Tennis Center in Los Angeles. Sharapova is set to headline this event alongside other WTA and ATP stars Madison Keys, Sloane Stephens, Laura Robson, Kei Nishikori, Andy Roddick and Michael Chang. Comedy stars Chelsea Handler and Will Arnett will partner with the tennis stars in mixed doubles.
The line-up for Saturday features a mixed doubles match between Roddick and Robson against Chang and Keys, a men’s singles match between Roddick and Chang, a women’s singles with Sharapova and Keys and a celebrity mixed doubles between Sharapova and Will Arnett against Roddick and Chelsea Handler.
The line-up for Sunday features a mixed doubles (Sharapova and Nishikori against Robson and Sock), a women’s singles match (Keys vs Stephens), a men’s singles match (Nishikori vs Sock), a Celebrity mixed doubles (Sharapova and Handler vs Sock and a player to be decided).
The event will help the Maria Sharapova Foundation raise funds for unpriviledged children.
