Lleyton Hewitt celebrated at the ATP Finals

Lleyton Hewitt was invited to the ATP Finals to attend a special award ceremony in honor of his contribution to tennis.

 

The two-time Grand Slam champion and former world No.1 will end his career at the Australian Open in January. He will play in his home Grand Slam tournament for the 19th consecutive time in his career. Besides his double Grand Slam triumph, the 34-year-old has won 30 ATP titles, which include two Masters and two year-end championship titles. During the award ceremony he was joined by a group of former world No.1’s including Boris Becker and Rafael Nadal. After receiving his award, Hewitt spokes about his love for the sport.

“The Tour has been a big part of my life and I’ve loved every minute of it. Thank you to everyone for supporting me.” He said.
