Nick Kyrgios has confirmed that he will donate $50 for every ace he produces on the tour during the rest of the season to the Elena Baltacha Foundation.
The foundation was created by British tennis player Elena Baltacha and her husband Nino Severino to help children from a disadvantaged background get into tennis. They set up the Elena Baltacha Academy of Tennis (EBAT) in Ipswich, the home city of Baltacha. The academy works with over 70 people at the venue. Baltacha died in January 2014 at the age of 30 after suffering from liver cancer. Kyrgios announced his pledge on his Twitter account.

So far in 2015 the 20-year-old has produced 442 aces on the tour. If he donated $50 for each of the ace that he produced so far this year, it would amount to $22,100.
The Australian isn’t the first player to donate every ace to charity. Last month Andy Murray said that he would donate £50 for every ace he hits until the end of this season to Unicef. He said that he wanted to do this to help the refugee crises.
