Caroline Garcia and Katarina Srebotnik are the latest team to qualify for the WTA Finals in Singapore after Bethanie Mattek Sands and Lucie Safarova (winners at the Australian Open and at the US Open), Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza (Wimbledon and US Open champions), Casey Dellacqua and Yaroslava Schvedova (US Open runners-up), Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina (Wimbledon finalists) and Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic (Wimbledon semifinalists)
Garcia and Srebotnik won the Eastbourne title and reached three finals in Brisbane, Stuttgart and Toronto. They will take part in the WTA Finals for the first time as a team but Srebotnik played in this tournament nine times and reached three finals in 2007, 2010 and 2011. Garcia was voted to take part in the WTA Rising Star Invitational with Ons Jabeur, Naomi Osaka and Zhu Lin.
