The British Davis Cup team endured an anxious morning after an injury scare during their practice session. The incident has cast a doubt on one of their players.
It is understood that 20-year-old Kyle Edmund went down in pain during a training session at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow. There is yet to be any confirmation regarding what the injury is and how severe it is. Shortly after the incident a picture was published on twitter by Twitter user @craigmcintyre91 (The caption says Dom Inglot but it is incorrect).

STV Sport has reported that Edmund was carried to the dressing room for a medical assessment. Following the incident the British Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) has said that the injury ‘doesn’t look too bad’ and more will be known tomorrow.
