TENNIS WTA LINZ – Ana Ivanovic is not playing any more matches before the WTA Championships in Singapore.
Ana Ivanovic withdrew from WTA International of Linz due to a general hip injury.
The Serb asked for a medical time-out during her first round win over Pauline Parmentier last night.
Ivanovic, who was already sure of taking part to the WTA Championships of Singapore before coming to Austria, decided to look after her body before the big event and withdrew from next week’s WTA Premier of Moscow too.
Madison Brengle has hence advanced to the quarterfinals.
