VIDEO: Serena Williams’ Random Venture Stuns Two Amateur Players

A stroll in the park has left two American men speechless after Serena Williams disrupted their game and decided to join in.

The world No.1 took a late night walk in San Francisco with her dog Chip and fiance Alexis Ohanian. During their adventure, Williams spotted two men playing tennis at the Mission Dolores Park. She debated whether or not to ask to join in whilst documenting the entire experience on Snapchat, which was presumably filmed by Ohanian.

“They’re in the middle of playing out points and I’m going to ask if I can have the winner.” Williams said.

Eventually the two men spotted Williams and approached her before all three of them began to hit balls. The random occasion was one the 35-year-old was unprepared for as she took to the court in a black Nike zip top and a pair of boots.

“The moral of this story is, you never know when I’m going to be coming to a tennis court near you,” Williams later joked.

The world No.1 hasn’t played a match on the tour since her Melbourne triumph. Williams is set to return to action next month at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells where she will be aiming to win her first title at the event since 2001.

Danielle Collins claimed her first WTA 1000 title of her career in Miami, defeating Elena Rybakina in the final.

The American claimed the title to seal a fairytale week as she prepares to say goodbye to Tennis after this season.

After a three set match against Bernarda Pera in the opening round, Collins won all her remaining matches in straight sets to claim a landmark title.

The Pole is aiming to complete the sunshine double in Miami after claiming her second Indian Wells title.

The world number one is the best player in the world and continues to grow in confidence as she extended her lead at the top of the rankings over Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina.
